Cooleman Ridge Loop, 8am - Sunday 10 Aug

An undulating walk on paths with good views if the weather permits of the snow covered Brindabella's. The walk includes a climb up Mount Arawang on the designated path but anyone who wants to can skip that. This is a 10 km Walk with a total ascent of 240m. I expect this will take 2.5 to 3 hours.

Meet at 0800 at Chapman Shops.

Thanks Cheryl. It was a great start to a Sunday. BTW, the acronym BNT is likely to be Bicentennial National Trail. My Namadgi maps shows it going around the western side of Canberra past Chapman and Duffy. I suggested it started at Valhalla in Victoria. That is wrong, the BNT starts in Healesville (and ends at Cooktown). The Australian Alps Walking track starts in Valhalla, and ends at the Namadgi Visitors Centre.
