Sunday Grab Bag Hike - Intermediate - 4.5 miles

We have experienced four seasons in the last 72 hours! And I don't dare guess what is coming the next 72 hours! But I do know that Weston and I need to hike, so let's get it on the calendar! It's going to be a "Grab Bag" hike. What does this mean?

It means a few things- I know we are going to hike about 4.5 miles. It is going to be a good pace of 20-23 minute mile. We are going to do some trails if they are in good condition. If they are not in good condition, we will do fire roads and flatter ground. We will hike north, south, east and west! We will have at least one water stop for the dogs, maybe two.

We will meet at Forest Hill Park from 42nd Street. Park near the first shelter as you pull in on the left. This will be an on-leash hike. As always, wear good shoes and be alert. Your dog will thank you!

We are thrilled that folks are enthusiastic about joining us on our hikes! Please understand that we can only accommodate a certain number of folks and pups on a given hike. Our group sizes are limited to ensure that we can effectively manage each group. You are welcome to RSVP with a guest (or two), but if the hike is filled up, please respect our limitations. There are more hikes on the way, you won't be left out!

Weston and I look forward to seeing you Sunday!

The pace was perfect, and Janice led yet another amazing hike. The course was a perfect combination of sun/shade, hills/flat. Can't wait for the next hike!

Picture perfect weather and great trail conditions made for a wonderful early afternoon hike! Newton, Abbey, Sadie, City, Hope, Divot, Dudley, Frankie, Buddy, Kona, Mason, Sadie (2), Hazel and Weston tore up the trails today with a beautiful 5 mile hike! We kept the pace up and were able to take in the Buttermilk Trail and Forest Hill Park. Hopefully everyone is snoozing this afternoon! Thank you everyone for coming out and we look forward to seeing you on your next hike!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
