The Canines Can Do walking club was originally started to give my students a chance to socialize their dogs and for me to follow up on their training. But since becoming a part of The Ridgewood Responsible Dog Owners committee it has become so much more. Our walks are an opportunity to help our dogs become the best that they can be by practicing and training obedience skills in public. Most walks are free and some are advanced limited classes held for a moderate fee. We are advocates of the American Kennel Club (AKC) Canine Good Citizen program and use this as a blueprint for training success.
