Pet Portraits as Family Members

The only way to register for this event is to use the following link.  There is no RSVP through the meetup. That is why the RSVP shows zero spots available. The fee for this class is $10.  Doors will open at 6:15pm

Attend this unique class with one of the finest and most experienced pet photographers around. Join award winning Master Photographer, Michael Joseph, as he shows you the ins and outs of working with these, sometimes unpredictable, little (or sometimes BIG) friends of yours. Michael has worked with animals his entire career and can help you learn the shortcuts to getting great images of our furry friends. He’s entertaining and a very approachable instructor, who always has friendly advice on this and many other photographic topics. Be ready for a fast-paced evening of education and entertainment as Michael performs a live pet portrait session and shares his Top Ten Secrets of Pet Photography. This one is a must see!

Originally from Allentown, PA, Michael has traveled throughout the country photographing people and their pets. 25 years, 15 states and over 35,000 portrait sittings later, almost every breed of dog and cat has had their chance in front of Michael’s camera. In fact, if you could get all the dogs and cats together that Michael has photographed over the years, you would easily fill each seat of any major football stadium!

You will learn:

Key pieces of gear to use

Knowing how to get the animal’s attention and make the session happen

Multiple light set ups

Top ten secrets of pet photography

Tips and suggestions on posing and how to flatter the animal in the best way

How to build the session

    Hello everyone!
I wanted to post here and encourage you to attend next weeks class on pet portraits with Michael Joseph. This guy sells out classes on this topic everywhere he goes and it would be a shame if you missed it! Even if you're not considering pet photography, Michael will be using the Canon 600EX-RT Speedlites for this session to give you insights into this system for it's portability, reliability and ease of use. Speedlites are a very hot topic and for a measly $10, I guarantee you'll leave at the end of the night being inspired from what you've learned AND you'll be entertained. He's a terrific speaker and one that should not be missed. As a reminder, even though you see the class says "Full" we likely have room. Follow this link to register:

    Hope to see you there!!!
