Once you’ve learned the basic principals of how the Canon Speedlite system works, you may be ready for off-camera flash to start creating depth and dimension in your images through creating highlights and shadows. This class goes into depth on how the Speedlite 600Ex-RT works, using its radio-based wireless transmission. You’ll learn menu navigation, custom functions and personal functions as well as how to use single or multiple flash units off camera to create beautiful light ANYWHERE!

Your instructor will show you how he uses multiple Speedlite 600EX-RT flash units to create special lighting environments for a scene to enhance the subject, all controlled wirelessly from the camera. He’ll show you how he uses Speedlites for everything from simple head and shoulders portraits to street scenes or illuminating interiors.

We'll will share the keys to softening the light output with modifiers for a more natural look. We’ll also touch on filtering the color of the light on the subject to match the ambient surroundings, again, for a more pleasing and natural feel.

What you will learn:

How and where to use the different shooting modes on the Speedlite 600EX-RT

Informative Techniques means no hands on experience, right?

  • Jim R.

Joao, it is not necessary to own a Speedlite for this class. There will be a lot of informative techniques discussed you will benefit from. Thanks for the question!

If a Speedlite is not provided as part of the class does it mean that I won't have hands on experience unless I have one and bring it to the class?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
