Monthly Meetup: Chris Laco

Chris Laco will be stopping out to give us a talk about testing.  "Testing: It's Not Just For Your Code!"

Depending on how long the talk goes, we may do some hands-on coding so bring your laptops.  Also, let me know if you have a lightning talk or kata that you would like to give in front of the group.

Pizza will be provided by Robert Half Technology, and there will be giveaways from O'Reilley and Pluralsight.

Canton Software Craftsmanship is a community event for software developers to get together and hone their craft.  Events will involve hands-on coding, speakers, and community involvement.

This was a GREAT meeting! It was GREAT to network w/ such a group of outstanding ppl! I look forward to the next one! i may even "bake" some brownies! ;) The information was timely as it hit home for me as my role on a Software development team! You can't stress enough the importance of "testing" and listening to the tools such as Nagios...GREAT lesson!!

I spoke to the security office and they said to park in the visitors lot. Should that lot be full you can park in the student lot and let security know when you come in that you are here for a meeting and no ticket will be issued.

Yes, there is a visitor parking lot up front. That's where I usually park. It can fill up quick though, so I've also parked in the student lot without a sticker and got away with it. Maybe we can ask about getting some sort of temporary passes or something for next time.

I don't have a student parking sticker. Is there parking for visitors?
