About me: This is a group that is for coffee lovers...and more. I am a small business owner in Cape Coral, and want to patronize other small business owners in the Cape as well. That's not to say that we won't also step outside the Cape on occassion, nor that we won't patronize franchise businesses. I just want to 'keep it in the Cape' as much as possible, so these small businesses can flourish. About this group: I would like to start with coffee meetups, and then as the group grows, expand to other activities as well, such as wine tastings, happy hours, etc. I encourage participation...not only in coming to the meetups, but also in finding new venues for us, as well as coming up with other activities that might interest the group. I'm hoping to have a few other Assistant Organizers that will be eager to 'take on' certain areas of interest and run with it! If you aren't interested in other activities, that's fine too. The core essence of this group will remain the same....coffee meetups. I want this to be fun, above all else. I'd love to see lasting friendships develop and have a tight knit group that wants to get out and do things...some active, and some just laid back and relaxed. Is this the group for you?: If you love coffee, want to make new friends, like trying new things and trying new places, this is the right group for you. All you need is a positive attitude and be open to having a good time. Membership Fee: Currently, there will be no membership fee, until I can see whether or not this group will 'take off'. If it does, then I will request a small ($5 - $10) annual fee to help pay for this website. The amount will be determined by the number of members in the group. The larger the group, the smaller the fee will be. Group Policy: You must have a picture of yourself posted on your profile to be accepted into this group. This group is open to all, however, this is not a 'dating site'. If that is what you are looking for, you need to look for another group. If two members happen to 'hit it off' , that's great, but please don't use this meetup as a way to meet other singles. Also, this is a social group, not a business networking group. Although talk about our work/jobs come up tangentially, we do not use this group as a way to promote our businesses or products.
