This presentation will appeal to .NET developers and
SharePoint / InfoPath Power Users alike. You don't have to be a .NET developer
to create powerful form-based solutions in SharePoint without writing a single
line of code. However, with a little knowledge of code, you can greatly enhance
what browser-based InfoPath forms can do in SharePoint. Ricky Spears will
demonstrate how to build powerful form-based business solutions using InfoPath
and the Enterprise Edition of SharePoint Server 2010 or SharePoint Server 2013.
He will also demonstrate how to add code to the form to add functionality. The
code portion of the presentation will cover how to publish forms that have had
code added as well as how sandboxing works to prevent malicious code from
harming the server. We will also contrast this method of adding code to an
InfoPath form with the method of adding an InfoPath form to a Visual Studio
solution for deployment to SharePoint.
We will start at 6pm and head over to Halligan's for drink/food and discussion afterwards.
Thanks again to Coworx for the use of their meeting space.
