Charles grew up here in Wilmington, graduated from Wake Forest University and has been engaged in software development since 1989. He is Microsoft Certified MCSE, MCAD, MCDBA, MCSD and MCP. His client list is extensive and his emphasis has been on building large scale custom software solutions.

He founded Stepquest in 2001 which is a software development consulting firm focused on building custom software solutions. He concentrates on the following technologies:

  • Cloud IaaS and PaaS Solutions
  • .NET Platform Solutions (C#, MVC, WCF, WPF, Entity Framework)
  • Database Platforms (MS SQL Server and Oracle)
  • Misc. (Single page websites, non-relational DBs and Hadoop)
