Alright, I use virtualbox daily. Is there a specific distribution you use for the labs?

    November 20, 2012

    • Kelly B.

I believe Eli is using the latest version to create the labs, but I would think anything 4.0 and up would work.

Hey guys, first meeting, just wondering if people bring their laptops to these things or not?

    November 20, 2012

    • Kelly B.

We provide laptops, but you can bring your own. It will take some time to set up the labs if you are not familiar with VirtualBox, but it's useful if you want to continue to play with the labs at home.

The vast majority of people are fine with the date so we are not changing it. I'll see everyone Wednesday.

Our standard meeting time is the 3rd Wednesday of the month. This is the day before Thanksgiving and it has been brought to my attention that some people will be traveling or out of town Wednesday. We could move this meeting back a week if that would be better for everyone. We've already had 19 people RSVP, so it doesn't look like the date was an issue for a lot of people. Please let me know if you want to move the date back. If enough people want this we will change it.
