Peebles Island and Two Locks

This paddle will precede our 6 o'clock Dinner Meeting at McGrievy's where we will review our year and plan ahead for the Winter and Spring. We will also hold the raffle drawings for a Dagger Kayak which benefits Mesothelioma... and a Big Bobber cooler of which the proceeds go directly to Linda Wells, 27, who is battling Meso. Drawings for other prizes as well.

Kayak raffle tickets are $5 or 6 for $20.

Bobber Cooler tickets are $1.

We will be paddling through 2 locks, turn around and come back...a great introduction to the lock system if you haven't done it before...and always fun for those of us who have. We need to be out of the last lock no later than 4:30 but if we have time, we will paddle up to the falls around Peebles.

Hopefully, all will join us for dinner and raffle drawings at McGrievy's!

Couldn't have picked a better day to do this...even had some playtime at the falls. Thanks for making so enjoyable everyone!

My attendance will depend on the condition of a ski club friend who's in the hospital in NH. I'm going to see him this Saturday and if he's still there next Saturday, I may go back then too. I'll know more at the end of next week, but for now, I'll say yes, I will be at the paddle and McGrievey's

Plan to be at the full moon paddle and this paddle - but have other plans Sat evening - so I will not be at the dinner.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
