Monday Morning Paddling

Monday Morning Paddles are hosted by Dick and Judy Clark of Ballston Lake.

Please abide by their instructions and requests below.

Directions to each location are listed the end.

From Dick and Judy:

Here are our paddles to get us through June.  Please plan to be totally off-loaded and in the water ready to paddle at 9:45.  If you like, bring a picnic lunch for during or after the paddle (optional).  Unless you want to let us know that you are going there is no need to respond by email about whether or not you will be paddling - just show up.

Rain and/or high winds will cancel the paddle and if the weather looks possibly threatening, check your email and we will try and get an email out by 8:00 that Monday morning if (and only if) the paddle is canceled.

What a great new kayak launch at this location. We enjoyed lunch and good company at the Lighthouse Restaurant afterwards.

I enjoy kayaking very much and would like to get more involved but the schedule seems to fit either retired or school schedule. I guess i find it hard to work full time had kayak at 10am on a weekday. Suggestions ?

Jeff, anyone from this kayak group can post a meetup. When three people sign up, it becomes "official." You are welcome to post your meetup! Yes, many of us are retired and some work alternative schedules which enable attendance mid-week.

Jeff, if you look at past meetups you can get information about the launches that might be helpful to you when planning a meetup, such as parking, type of launch, hours, etc.
