Anyone available for some Axis&Allies in May, during a night or day of the weekends 3/4/5 or 9/10/11 maybe? Let me know if you're interested and if you can host as well! Cheers.

I think I may have out grown A&A as it just moves too slow for me and the Global one is just crazy... WAY too much for me. The guys were amazing though

No worries man, once you're playing when everyone knows the rules it goes fast and can be pretty fun. Anniversary edition is a bit bigger, has a bit more variety and has national objectives and tech, it's a really great middle ground compared to Spring42 and Global. But yea there are varying degrees of difficulty through the versions, it can get pretty complex and you have to be hardcore into it :) Thanks for playing anyway, I liked the positive vibes you put into every dice roll lol

I'll bring my copy... This is starting to sound like 2 games. I'll also bring a smattering of my other games. :)

Yea that's what we're thinking, we're bringing spring 1942 which replaced revised as the entry level game, and three more advanced versions, anniversary, Pacific 1940, and Europe 1940. The more the merrier(sp?)

Wow I so wish that I could go. My Wife is away and my young kids would not last long. Maybe next time. I do plan to host more A&A games at my place!

And I have to leave by 7:00, so if we start at noon, what can we accomplish in 7 hrs?

I agree with Sam. It's always best if you can finish what you start.

We've got 6 signed up--which game best accommodates that many? Global could be cool but it'll take a while to play.

No, but there are a lot of new versions since revised and classic with more

I've played AA revised and old. And Europe. Haven't played in years though so I'll be pretty green. :) I own the Revised and played the computer one a lot.

We could play Global with the latest rules that get rid of most political restrictions.

Is there a PDF? Global sounds...like an undertaking

I really enjoyed Europe 1940 with Karl so is be willing for that, but I am pretty open to anyone else's preferences too.
