A Communicating for Connection, Self-Care and Creativity Workshop/Retreat, an introduction to and deepening of the core practices of Nonviolent Communication, co-created based on the needs/hopes of those able to plan and come (w/optional lake/potluck dinner time afterwards).
This is a one-day introduction to the practices and possibilities of Nonviolent Communication (NVC) for a world of mutuality and "power-with" others, based on the work of Marshall Rosenberg, a student of Mahatma Gandhi, Carl Rogers, Walter Wink, et al. NVC skills and practices support self-care and collaboration across differences--including in families, organizations and workplaces.
It is offered by Louisa Davis, a former UCC campus/parish minister and professor of ethics and world religions who's been leading workshops and practice groups since graduating from the Bay NVC Leadership program in 2008 and is in the CNVC certification process. She has hundreds of days of training, including study with Marshall Rosenberg.
The requested fee is $50. If this is an obstacle, I will welcome you at a contribution chosen by you because I would appreciate your support and sharing this practice.
