Come join fellow enthusiasts of the Brazilian Martial Art known as Capoeira. Capoeira is a beautiful and graceful art form that fuses dance, martial arts, and acrobatics. Lots of its history could be heard through the music of Capoeira. To fully understand its power and energy you have to witness it first hand.
Everybody receives a warm welcome whether you're completely new to Capoeira, or have some experience in other martial arts, dances, or acrobatics.
Its a great way to meet and interact with people from different backgrounds, as well as get a complete body workout. By complete body workout, I mean arms, legs, core, and muscles you never knew you had. Some other benefits of Capoeira include improvements in balance, coordination, strength, and flexibility. You'll learn the moves, the music, and the wonderful culture that capoeira brings. Genres such as samba and maculele are just examples of some workshops I'd like to introduce to my students, as well.
