Monthly Meeting

Our presentation for November will be a special treat:

Captain Steve Bielenda, the King of the Deep, to visit SISD on November 6th

His vessel was the legendary Wahoo (now the Garloo) and his territory was the deep parts of our local waters where the best shipwrecks were found. The Andrea Doria, the Republic, the USS Bass, the Coimbra and of course the Oregon and the San Diego, this is a partial list of the shipwrecks he visited in search of adventure and lobsters. We are now looking at his reign as the Golden Age of Diving, and yearn for those days of adventure.

I am proud to count Captain Steve as one of my closest friends, and it is always an interesting night when he stops by.

Other new business - happenings at the NRPA, recap of Capt. Rich Dewar's "Almost Last Dive", what's up at Treshers, and annual elections. Captain Kirby Kurkomelis is working on a new project, and he may drop by and give us a peek at it. As he works relentlessly towards his specialty in UW Archaeology, we hope for a few updates on his latest adventures.

See you on the 6th of November at 7pm. Pepperjack Grill (formerly Scott's Armory Inn), 316 Manor Rd.

Captain Steve Lombardo, Pres.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
