  • May 3, 2013 · 6:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

* N.B. Film starts at 7pm * Another venue for us to meetup in near Bank station. It's a private members club with a screening room and seating for up to 50 Caramel Film Club Members. Feel free to arrive from 6pm onwards to mingle in the lounge area and enjoy the club's selection of food and drink then at 7.00pm we will be having a screening of:

"Not Easily Broken" starring Morris Chestnut, Taraji P. Henson, Kevin Hart and Jennifer Lewis

"Chronicling the story of one couple's love, loss and ultimate faith in one another, Not Easily Broken follows the lives of Dave and Clarice Johnson in their second decade of marriage. Dave's dreams of major league baseball success were dashed by an injury in college, leading him to a steady but unfulfilling career as the head of a small construction firm. Clarice is basking in the glow of real estate stardom, creating a life that revolves around her rise to the top. She has become blind to Dave's needs, the most important being his desire to become a father and start a family with her. Soon Dave and Clarice must face a married couple's most serious questions: are we really meant to be together, and if we are, how do we fight to keep what we have built as man and wife?"

There'll be a chance to chill after the film and enjoy some of the drinks and cocktails. (Plus a possibility of a game or two of pool)

Then at 9.00pm we will have a screening of "King's Ransom" starring Anthony Anderson, Kellita Smith, Nicole Parker, Regina Hall, Donald Faison, Charlie Murphy, Leila Arcieri, Loretta Devine and Jay Mohr

"A successful and wealthy businessman, with plenty of attitude to spare, Malcolm has made more than his share of enemies over the years, including his soon-to-be ex-wife and his overworked, under-appreciated employees. Not wanting to go through a messy and expensive divorce played out in the media, Malcolm devises a plan to save his money from his wife's eager hands. Along with the help of his mistress, Peaches, Malcolm plots his own kidnapping in order to secure a fictitious ransom so extremely high that, once paid, the public will think he's broke and unable to meet his wife's financial demands. What results is a wild, comedic ride for Malcolm that will change his life forever. "

All you need to do is simply RSVP with payment to secure a seat!

Peace & Love

A good evening only slightly marred by technical faults, but ever at the ready to make the evening a successful, our host brought in some nostalgia with the Benny Hill theme tune.

Hi Dave, do you know if there is anywhere to park nearby?

    May 2, 2013

    • Dave

Hi Maur. Alas parking is very scarce in the area especially before 7pm. It may be worth parking at a station that links to Bank as the venue is only a couple minutes walk from the station.
