Everything you need to know about Sustainable DC

In April, 2012, District of Columbia Mayor Vincent Gray announced "Sustainable DC" which is his vision of making the District the healthiest, greenest, most livable city in the nation by 2032. Following up on Mayor Gray’s vision is his full sustainability plan for the city, called “Sustainable DC.” The plan, released in February 2013, discusses challenges the city faces including jobs, health, equity, and the environment and solutions for addressing those challenges in the categories of the built environment, energy, food, nature, transportation, waste, and water.
Doo Consulting is proud to present Dan Guilbeault, Policy Analyst at the District Department of the Environment and a project lead for the Sustainable DC initiative. Dan will present the vision, goals, and targets, and discuss some of the actions the District will be taking—and have already taken—as a result of the plan.
