This summer, President Obama committed the U.S. to be a global leader on curbing climate disruption and proposed that we start by limiting carbon pollution from power plants. Currently, there are no limits on the amount of carbon pollution spewed into the air by power plants. It's time to change that.
The EPA is hosting listening sessions to gauge support for taking action to limit carbon pollution from power plants. One of these sessions is in Washington, DC on November 7. There will be strong opposition to these new limits from the fossil fuel industry, so we need your help to show strong support for bold action to address climate disruption.
Join The Sierra Club, National Wildlife Federation, The National Audubon Society, Environment America, Moms Clean Air Force, League of Conservation Voters, NRDC (Natural Resources Defense Council), Chesapeake Climate Action Network, American Lung Association and many other organizations and concerned citizens for this important EPA Public Listening Session on the EPA's proposed carbon pollution standards for power plants. This is YOUR opportunity to offer testimony directly to the EPA, and join 3.2 million voices that have already asked the EPA to protect our communities from excessive carbon pollution.
