Ready for a fun day in the sun fellow environmentalists?!

On Saturday, May 2, 2009, please join the CarbonfreeDC team and participate in the DC area's largest day of service by participating in Servathon 2009! We would love to have you join us in greening the community.

CarbonfreeDC volunteers will do a project like cleaning up trash along the Anacostia river, removing invasive species from local forests, plant trees or other important environmental work. So come get sweaty and have a blast with other eco-folks like yourself!

Join the CarbonfreeDC team today!

Servathon is an event sponsored by Greater DC Cares that brings out over 3,500 volunteers in just one day! This year, Servathon will be held on Saturday, May 2nd. In total, we expect to provide over $400,000 worth of services and supplies to area nonprofits and public schools in just 5 hours! Our project will be from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. We will then all gather for an after party full of fun, prizes, inspiration, beer and food from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.!
This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow CarbonfreeDC members and to give back to our DC community.

Registering is simple! Just follow the steps below:

1) Go to the CarbonfreeDC Team Page
2) Click "Join Our Team"
3) Accept the Volunteer Waiver
3) Add your personal contact information and you will be registered!
