SaturDAY Beery Fun For Newbies and Oldies!

Ok, the freebie rugby tickets have been taken, so for the rugby attendees, we'll meet up at the gatekeeper (which is literally across the road from the stadium) at 12/lunchtime so we can have a little natter beforehand/meet any newbies coming along/make sure everyone has their ticket - probably grab a quick bite to eat so we have something in our system to absorb the beer :). Then we'll head over to the stadium no later than 1 as the queues can be pretty harsh and we don't want to miss kick off!

We'll then head over to the Mochyn Du at around 3.30pm, where we can meet everybody else, and we'll probably move to other pubs on cathedral road until people start to nod off :).

Well Done! Nicky you managed tickets to a Cardiff Heineken Cup victory against holders. I missed you in the pub i went home and didn't back till 7 and I expected you would be long gone.

how about getting the train from aber station instead of bus?
only a short stroll from lidl & probably quicker to get into Cardiff!
if you're not bothered about the walk, then worth getting the bus instead (especially if closer to your house)
I think I will get the train to avoid any possible road traffic & get there little bit quicker

Please may I have 1 of the FREE cardiff blues tickets for saturday !!
Pass my thanks on to the top dude Nicky (plus thanks to your goodself, of course) - but I will have to decline the offer of a slobbery kiss ........ how about a firm handshake, instead ?!! ;)).
So I'm a DEFINITE - & able to meet anytime from lunchtime sat onwards for collection of the match tkt.
I'm guessing that the plan of action is that we meet @ Mochyn Du ... have drink(s) .... ticket in hand .... go to match ... watch match .... & generally be happy chappies ! :)
    Cheers , Jon

Nicky's just text me and told me to offer SIX tickets to saturday's match on here (this is FREE entry to the cardiff blues v toulon match kick off 1.35pm - tickets are normally about £20 so nicky will be expecting a slobbery kiss from any men who come along in return ;)). Not sure who of the RSVPs want to go to the match and who just want to meet up in the pub after, but we reckon the fairest way to do this is to ask those interested to reply to this post saying you want a ticket and we'll message you to arrange meet-up/collection on the day. So basically, the first six people to reply will get a ticket.

Please only take a ticket if you know you can DEFINITELY come to the match (and can meet anytime from lunchtime saturday) as it would be a real shame if somebody takes a ticket over somebody else and then cancels last minute or doesn't turn up and it can't be offered elsewhere.

Hi darren. If we have been lucky enough to get a ticket. What is the meeting up arrangement for that. Are we meeting by the stadium?

Still "getting there" illness wise so will come for a while and might only be able to go mad on the kind of coke that comes in cans.

Mostly been going to the pubs for the food because I can't be arsed with internet shopping and can't yet carry shopping bags. Have had one or two but have been advised against having one too many.
