We were all there :( did you try texting Kirsty ? I'm sure she posted her number
I forgot there was no signal, we'll try to make sure we find you next time Jayne!
I turned up too...but I was a little late getting there so it was my own fault! I tried to call Kirsty but the signal was poor. That'll teach me to turn up on time next time! Ha ha

And look for the red welsh stuffed dragon to find us if you haven't met the group before.
Coming from Cardiff. There are 2 ways to get to the castle i believe. From northern avenue A470 I think you should be able to take a right onto iron bridge rd. then its left onto merthyr rd at T junction. right at mill road when u enter tongwynlais. then it will be a left turning, should be signposted. if you go the other route, staying on the A470 slightly longer, slightly past the castle (up in the hills to your right!) and coming off the first roundabout you then need to come back on yourself a little. 3rd exit. . it quickly divides into 2 road, make sure you take the one of the right merthyr road A4054. (if you take left one you are back on A470 heading back to Cardiff! I have made that mistake once in the past! Disclaimer:please dont blame me if any of the information is not accurateHappy travelling!

just a suggestion: if the weather is too poor for the castle/woods the meetup could be changed to just a lunch and drinks, and the castle is re-scheduled.

That sounds good. Seems likely it's going to be really cold. Even if we can't go walking, would still like to meet for lunch :)

there is a nice cafe in the castle , with a nice homemade menu , just to the left of the entrance...
Hey Everyone! It would be really helpful if everyone could try and bring £3.80 in cash (or as near as possible). Then hopefully we can avoid everyone having to line up :)
And save them from giving everyone change
entirely by chance there happens to be a storyteller at the castle on sunday, no extra charge.

A fun and friendly social group for people of all ages and interests!
We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
