Learn how to build and sell your personal employment brand

  • Dec 3, 2013 · 6:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Everything has a brand these days. Why? Because they are short, easy to understand and bring seemingly inanimate objects alive. Recruiters look through thousands of lifeless applications and CV's and meet hundreds of people who give the same dull responses. Don't be lifeless in your job search any more. Create your own unique brand, based on your own unique qualities and learn how to communicate to find your dream job.

This meet up will introduce the personal brand concept, provide you with steps required to create your own personal brand and then give you tips for communicating it.

This workshop style presentation will be provided by Shane Norton of the company Powerful Professional English and the meet up group Communication for Business Zurich.

Shane is a professional trainer specialising in communication skills in English. He is based in Zurich where delivers one to one coaching and workshops for clients that include ABB, HSBC, Novartis, Roche, ETH Zurich and the IMD Business School.

Hello everyone, many thanks for the positive remarks following the event. Be sure to complete the questions and use the tools you walked away with. The hardest part is then evaluating the forms and turning the results into your brand statements, namely your USP's, purpose and values. If you need help with this part be sure to reach out to me ([masked]). With what you have, you can short cut my coaching process to reach the end in a session or two.

Many thanks again, it was a pleasure to share my work with you. Good luck in your careers!

    Shane

Thank you so much for your presence! It was, indeed, a great event, where everyone learnt a lot. Your attitude and communication skills are deeply enthusiastic and I am sure the contents you presented will be the foundation for each one's brand.

PPEnglish will surely be very successful thanks to your work. Good luck!

We'll be at this small ruim indie the bar, right side of the counter. The waiters also know about it, so you should have no problem at all.

Hi Kat, I'm afraid this is a one time only event. But I'm sure we'll have interesting events next years and I'm hoping we can meet on those.
