Faith Friends Pitch-in Party

  • May 26, 2012 · 4:00 PM

Let's trek over to Lafayette to see Maureen's new place on Saturday, May 26 for the Faith Friends Pitch-in Party. Just off I-65N and SR 26, it's easy-to-find and under one hour from Carmel. Address was sent to "yes" RSVPs on Wednesday night - email Maureen if you did not receive it.

We'll have the usual party format of pitch-in and cookout. Please bring a food item to share such as appetizer/snack, side dish, fruit/veg, pasta, salad, entree, dessert, etc. and your beverage of choice. Maureen will provide paper goods and plastic utensils, Diet Coke, bottled water.  Food provided: Doritos, hot, cheesy potatoes, baked beans, meatballs, broccoli salad, hamburgers/hotdogs, buns and condiments. M&M cookies too. If you know what you're bringing, please post it on your RSVP comment, thank you! Can be store bought/deli or homemade.

We'll get the party started early at 4 p.m., but you can arrive later that evening if that suits your schedule better. There's adequate seating indoors/outdoors, but if it's POURING down rain/storming at that time, we may postpone to Sunday and have it at 2 p.m. to avoid race traffic. Light rain/cloudy - the party will still be held. Adults, 21+ only for this event, please.

If you'd like to carpool, post a note and coordinate with others attending.

NOTE: The 39th Annual Round the Fountain Art Fair is 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. that same day at the Historic Tippecanoe County Courthouse Square, Lafayette.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
