I will be joining you at the fish fry. I'm at site 16. Never been to a fish fry, so could someone tell me if scallops (large size) are okay and if I have to do something to them before frying? I'm thinking about bringing spinach brownies (no chocolate).

Who did I talk to about the camping near the cheese factory? Have you guys gone as a group yet? What is the name of that camp site?

    May 26

    • Ramona H.

We camp at Twin Rivers Campground July 11 - 13. Joey and I will be there the 9th if you want to come early. Google Ashe County Cheese Factory for more information. It is less than 30 min. away from the campground. Contact Lisa through the facebook page Fans of Twin Rivers Campground. Tell her you are with the Carolina Campers Too and would like a site near Ramona and Joey. Tell her that you have a tent. Look forward to seeing you there. We tube and kayak at this campground. It is right on the New River.

Before I make reservations for this one, I would really appreciate some advice. Do I want Lakefront? Is "moderate" driveway grade okay? Gravel vs paved? Can you tell I'm really new at this?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
