Camping at Hunting Island State Park

Hunting Island campground, located on the north end of the park, have both RV and tent sites available. The campground layout allows for easy access to the beach. Most park attractions are within walking distance. The campground has restroom facilities, hot showers and dressing rooms, two dump stations for RV's, pay phones, sheltered picnic areas and a small convenience store.

Rick and I have reserved site 58 for the full week and would love to have other campers join us for all or part of the week.

Hi everyone. Can you please list your site number and the days you plan on being there. Any interest in a potluck dinner?

I have reserved a camping site for Thursday through Sunday night. The other camper that was sharing the site is moving out of state.
Anyone want to share the expenses of a camping site-must have your own tent?

I'll share a site, will only be there through Saturday morning though. I've got a tent and a dog. I'll be coming from Charleston.

this is such a shame I didn't know about this event. I had already reserved a spot on the beach, behind the dunes for the weekend of 17th. I'm going alone (with my dog). I hope to stay more in tune with your meetups!

I am new to this group. I have camped since 1962 in everything from pup tents to motorhomes.
Brenda you are organizing this? Are you planning to spend the entire time Thurs-Wed there? I have never solo camped and would like to know familar others are around during the time I am camping.
I plan to reserve an RV site-I want the electric and water-lol. I have a small tent, if someone else wants to pitch a small tent on the site we can split the camping fees.

I left Syracuse in the mid-70's. Remember the name Palmyra, but that is all I'm afraid.
