Thanks Anita! Went back to work today and am feeling much better. Have a great weekend - you will enjoy this group. Lots of great people!! You could not ask for better friends.

Anita each campground is alittle different. I beleive the t sites are off away from regular sites. Usually u have to walk in and carry your stuff To site. Parking usually in front of area not on site. If u have alot of stuff its a pain. I usual go with tent/ rv site just make sure not all pavement since u have to stake your tent in ground. It is always nice too becauae u can get electric or water for convenience. I Tent camp always go with regular sites. Hope this helps.

The online reservations says site 46 in loop 2 is available 4-19-13. That is organizers site. Am I in the right area of the campground?

Are the sites there really as small as they say, looks like most are 30 ft? Is their any room for me to sneak a larger RV into a smaller spot? We have a 33ft Class A and my wife always bring a car too.

    March 30, 2013

    • Brian D.

I think the spots are bigger than they say, we have a 36 foot and are in spot 48. I think they usually undersize them. You should have room to park a car at your spot also.

      March 31, 2013

I am new so I have questions. Will we stay only Friday night? Will try to reserve somewhere in the #40's that seems to be where the rest of you are; are tents allowed there?

    March 7, 2013

    • Brenda M.

Be there Friday - Sunday. All of our campouts are for a weekend. Sometimes people come early or stay late.

      March 13, 2013

    • Ramona H.

Some come for the day and kayak.

      March 13, 2013

  • Brian D.

Are there any plans for kayaking at this camp out?

    March 6, 2013

  • Ramona H.

Since this one is a little over an hour from home, we are coming for the day. We are bringing the kayaks and leaving Mac at home. We will pack a picnic lunch, snacks, and food to share if we stay for the Sat. evening campfire and meal. We will hang out wherever someone will claim us(don't everyone volunteer at once - LOL). Look forward to seeing you all and to meeting our new camping family members.

You know I always have room to spare.

    • Brenda M.

Can't wait to meet you Anita. Ask all the questions you need. Only way to find out. Some meetup groups do group campsites. This group does not because we like the outdoors but do not really want to rough it. We enjoy hot showers and electricity. Some of us have campers and some of us are in tents. It does not matter to us. Good luck with this new adventure and above all have fun.
