An art diary is an enjoyable way of keeping memories of events and every day life and can include a wide range of techniques.
It can be a mixture of visual images and writing in any amount. No experience necessary.
I will be teaching many techniques that you can use including line, wash, watercolour, watercolour pencils, collage etc.
An A5 spiral bound good quality cartridge paper is ideal. Cass Arts sell these for £4.25 but I will bring along spares if you don't manage to get one in time.
£7.50 payable on the day.
Classes are on Fridays, 11am - 12.30 and will take place weekly on a drop in basis. Each class is different so come along when you are able to.
At Petersham excellent coffee and cake is available, and lunch if you would like to treat yourself after the class! it is also a delightful environment - you will be surrounded by beautiful flowers and objets d'art. We will be outside under shady umbrellas when weather is fine or at tables inside the conservatories when in it is cold - always good natural light.
On Friday we will be looking at drawing people using ink and brush wash. I will bring along photos for reference to learn the technique.
