THE WAPPING GROUP OF ARTISTS
Painting en plein air, the group meets every week between April and September to work on location recording the life of London and the Thames. The exhibition features familiar haunts such as Windsor and Marlow up-river, through all of riverside London and out to estuary locations such as Leigh-on-Sea. The members’ work is a perpetual delight of tideway and riverbank, sunlight and showers, boats and architecture. Over 100 works in various media. All works for sale and at affordable prices.
After the exhibition we can all go to lunch together. I have booked a table for us in our own private room at the Clarence pub in the famous Pol Roger Room on the first floor at the Clarence, in 53 Whitehall.
Each will pay their own bill for drinks and food.
Prices very fair for location.
Cosy venue so we can mix and get to know each other.
Look forward to meeting everyone soon.
