Happy New Year from Curious Kat's Adventure Club (www.adventureclub.biz). How are your New Year's resolutions coming along? Have you vowed to travel more and get fit? We can help: we have some places left on our adventure packed trips: Burns' night in Edinburgh, skiing and snowboarding at Olympic slopes in France, the tomato fight in Spain, Sahara adventure in Morocco and pyramids and volcano in Tenerife. Regular hikes, sports days and evening activities are available too!

Welcome David...based on your suggested novels you're in good company! Proust seems a decided favourite and Notes from the Underground is a personal favourite of mine....hope to meet you soon! Juanita
Glad you enjoyed Absent Friends and you are most welcome. As far as Strange Interlude is concerned I found the way the thoughts are delivered offputting at first but got used to it. I also seemed to be in a minority of one in our group to have any problem. I found the characters became really well rounded over time and definitely think it's worth seeing. Press night is Tuesday so there should be plenty of reviews published on Wednesday morning.
Welcome to our group David
Hi no worries. It was posted for over a week! It originally started as me asking if people were available during the daytime. Many responded and agreed to meet on that day. Like I said, no worries!
Hi David, I'm just trying to drum up some numbers for our pub visit this Thurs, we're a group of beer drinkers who used to be on Meetup but moved over to GroupSpaces - we get plenty of people for our Saturday crawls but for midweekers we get lower numbers so I was hoping to invite some newcomers along. Our website is here: http://groupspaces.com/PubTours and our next trip out is near Barbican this Thurs. If you feel like giving it a try then please feel free to come along. Cheers, Tim
