Becoming our true potential - Shantideva's Guide

We'll be studying Shantideva's Guide to the Bodhisattva's way of life and specifically the chapter on Patience (which is the antidote to anger and hostility).  Feeling anger and ill will is such an ingrained nature in us and we can totally overcome it; this text shows us how. It follows in the great tradition of books that are designed to make Buddhism accessible and relevant to ordinary life.

This book is one of the seminal texts in Buddhism and is one that H.H. the Dalai Lama said gave him the most benefit.  It is as relevant today as it was when it was written in the 8th cent.

If you want a copy of the book, here's an Amazon link: www.amazon.com/Guide-Bodhisattvas-Way-Life-Santideva/dp/[masked]/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=[masked]&sr=8-9&keywords=shantideva

I hope you will join us.

This will be a multi-week class.  You can join at any time (don't be afraid!).  We'll do our normal meditation session followed by teaching and discussion.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
