Hike - Casa Grande Mountain Park

Casa Grande Mountain has a wonderful new trail system! Some of you may remember the old trail we hiked in the past. It was rough and rocky and steep! The new trails are nothing like that. Come out and try it out! There are trails for all levels of hikers, easy, moderate and difficult. The higher you go the better the view!

Be sure to wear good walking/hiking shoes, bring plenty of water and don't forget the sunscreen and hat.

We will meet at the Peart Trailhead

  • Continue South on Peart Road, under I-8 overpass, road curves East then South to base of Mtn
  • Turn Left (East) on unpaved road to trailhead - the pavement ends and you may see cars parked here, but keep going on the gravel road on the left to the actual parking area. If you don't see a sign for Casa Grande Mountain Park you haven't gone far enough. Just past the sign there is a large parking area on the right. This is where the trail starts.

For more information about the new trails check out www.cgmountaintrails.org
