Hi, I am a single, retired lady, who likes to trail ride. I have an older truck and stock trailer. I live in Snohomish out 3 Lakes Rd. with 2 horses. Camille, a 10 yr old AQHA buttermilk dun mare, and Spirit a 3 yr old gelding.

Tell us about your trail horse

Spirit, just coming 3, is my near future trail horse. He is a laid back Palomino Quarter Horse gelding. ( I sold my red dun quarter pony mare last summer)

Where do you like to ride?

Mann Rd, Lord Hill, Pilchuck Tree Farm, Bridle Trails State Park

Hi Kathy! I just joined after getting my first horse (Buggy, also a rescue prior to her last home) and am looking forward to trail riding. I have no trailer (do have a truck though!) and was wondering if next time you ride at Lord Hill Park (or elsewhere on your way out), you could maybe swing by and pick us up? I'm currently boarding at Lord Hill Park Stables and would love to get out and ride with members. I look forward to meeting you and others!

Hello Kathy, I just joined so I could have others to ride with. I live off the Dubuque so we are neighbors almost. Maybe a quick trip to the Lord's Hill or an introduction to Pilchuck would be in order. Went up there when we bought a horse a few years ago but have never ridden the trails. I'm off Tues/Thursday. My mare, Neah, was a rescue horse as well and needed some refreshing, as did I! So far so good. Look forward to meeting new people and riding with others.

If you enjoy horses, mules and the outdoors then we’d like to have you come visit us. We are a local group of great people who enjoy trail riding, campouts, potlucks, trail building and maintenance, monthly meetings and socializing.

As a chapter of Back Country Horsemen of Washington (BCHW) and Back Country Horsemen of America (BCHA) our goal is to ensure that there are continued recreational opportunities on public lands.

As a member of this website, you are not required to become a DUES PAID member of the Cascade Horse Club Chapter of BCHW; however, we encourage you to support the local trails and our mission by becoming a member of our Chapter. As a DUES PAID member, you are able to join us on all the rides and events hosted by our club, you will also receive our monthly newsletter and get on our email list for immediate updates to what is going on with the club. As a DUES PAID member, your money is used to help support our mission. Members of the WEBSITE ONLY are welcome to join us on many of our rides and events, however we do reserve some events for DUES PAID members only, as a Thank You for your continued support. Anyone is welcome to attend our meetings, we meet the second Tuesday of each month at the Lake Stevens Community Center at 7pm, unless otherwise noted on the calendar.

Cascade Horse Club has been a club for over 50 years, this website is a tool we utilize to keep our members informed and updated, providing quick and easy access to our calendar and other riders in the community!
