Introduction

Hi CHC, I am a 3 day event competitor who loves to trail ride as part of my training. I also trail ride because I LOVE it and think it is a blessing to live in this part of the world with my horse.

Tell us about your trail horse

My horse is a rescue - turned sporthorse. He will compete this year for the first time in 3 day eventing. I like to trail ride as part of his training

Where do you like to ride?

I ride every day at GreenHills Event Stable in Gig Harbor. I haven't had the opportunity to trail ride here in the NW. In my past, I rode trails all over PA, DE and MD. I miss it A LOT!!!

Are you a current member with BCHW "Back Country Horsemen of Washington"?

Not yet but I intend to join after the holiday.

If yes, what Chapter? If not, are you interested in becoming a member of BCHW?

Yes..definitely.

I (unfortunately) will not be at the Orientation, however Mary Casey (also in SaddleUp) is a member as of 2012. Feel free to ask questions of any of the seniors/unit members at the meeting; you are also welcome to contact me via email or phone. thank you for coming to learn about mounted SAR, and I will hope to get to meet all of you during this 2013 training year!

As a member of this website, you are not required to become a DUES PAID member of the Cascade Horse Club Chapter of BCHW; however, we encourage you to support the local trails and our mission by becoming a member of our Chapter. As a DUES PAID member, you are able to join us on all the rides and events hosted by our club, you will also receive our monthly newsletter and get on our email list for immediate updates to what is going on with the club. As a DUES PAID member, your money is used to help support our mission. Members of the WEBSITE ONLY are welcome to join us on many of our rides and events, however we do reserve some events for DUES PAID members only, as a Thank You for your continued support. Anyone is welcome to attend our meetings, we meet the second Tuesday of each month at the Lake Stevens Community Center at 7pm, unless otherwise noted on the calendar.

Cascade Horse Club has been a club for over 50 years, this website is a tool we utilize to keep our members informed and updated, providing quick and easy access to our calendar and other riders in the community!
