I am member of BCHW Cascade Horse Club Chapter and Sno-King Saddle Up. I love to trail ride on local trails and in the back country and participate in work parties to keep our trails open for all user groups.

Tell us about your trail horse

Yes. The most beautiful 1/2 Arab Princess that ever walked the trails. Oh, and did I mention that her manure smells like roses :D

Where do you like to ride?

Most of the time, unless somehow I end up off the trail.

I have been a member of Cascade Horse Club Chapter of Back Country Horsemen for many years. I was new to trail riding when I joined and looked to the more experienced riders to learn more about trail riding, horse camping and being a good steward of the trails. It has been a great journey and I have learned a lot from this group. I have also gained some wonderful friends. We have a lot of fun riding, socializing and work hard to keep the trails open to all user groups. We look forward to welcoming new members to our club!

Hi Wendy!! I'm very glad to be here and look forward to meeting people. I'm interested in BCHW, so will be checking out the website. The idea of camping with horses sounds fantastic and I hope to learn more there too! I have no trailer so hope to connect with someone who boards nearby (I'm in Lord Hill Stables, Snohomish) so I can make some of the rides! I'd love to pay for someone's gas... LOL.

Thanks Wendy! I can't wait to get started on the trails this summer and meet other local horse lovers! See that you are a real estate agent, I will be looking for a rental that is horse friendly in June. I'll be looking for a long term lease of at least 2 years so if you know of anyone that could help me find what I'm looking for please e mail me!!

My neighbor friend rides a 17 yr old appy. She's the one with the horse trailer but we both love to hit the trails around here. I'm sure we'll be trying to make some rides with you guys. The group looks like it's having fun. That's awesome. =)

That sounds like fun! I would love to go riding with you sometime and hopefully see some new trails. I own 1 arabian that is 4yrs and a complete sweetheart both on the ground and under the saddle. If you enjoy horses, mules and the outdoors then we’d like to have you come visit us. We are a local group of great people who enjoy trail riding, campouts, potlucks, trail building and maintenance, monthly meetings and socializing.

As a chapter of Back Country Horsemen of Washington (BCHW) and Back Country Horsemen of America (BCHA) our goal is to ensure that there are continued recreational opportunities on public lands.

As a member of this website, you are not required to become a DUES PAID member of the Cascade Horse Club Chapter of BCHW; however, we encourage you to support the local trails and our mission by becoming a member of our Chapter. As a DUES PAID member, you are able to join us on all the rides and events hosted by our club, you will also receive our monthly newsletter and get on our email list for immediate updates to what is going on with the club. As a DUES PAID member, your money is used to help support our mission. Members of the WEBSITE ONLY are welcome to join us on many of our rides and events, however we do reserve some events for DUES PAID members only, as a Thank You for your continued support. Anyone is welcome to attend our meetings, we meet the second Tuesday of each month at the Lake Stevens Community Center at 7pm, unless otherwise noted on the calendar.

Cascade Horse Club has been a club for over 50 years, this website is a tool we utilize to keep our members informed and updated, providing quick and easy access to our calendar and other riders in the community!
