Introduction

Please call me MJ or Mary Jo. I started riding later in life, got my first horse 6 years ago. I just started horse camping this past summer and love it!!! I enjoy meeting new people and exploring new places to ride.

Tell us about your trail horse

I have a 14 yr old Tennessee Walker Gelding named Jack. He has a smooth gait and is a great trail horse.

Where do you like to ride?

Mountains when I can, Sahara creek, Salmon La Sac, Crystal Mountain. Local Redmond Water and the Tree Farm, Fall City.

Thanks for joining Lynn Webster and me today for a great ride on our favorite winter loop - RWS main trail to Tuscany to Farrell McWhirter and back up the the Watershed. Nice pace, well-behaved ponies, sun and suprisingly warm weather. You and Jack were fine company!

If you enjoy horses, mules and the outdoors then we’d like to have you come visit us. We are a local group of great people who enjoy trail riding, campouts, potlucks, trail building and maintenance, monthly meetings and socializing.

As a chapter of Back Country Horsemen of Washington (BCHW) and Back Country Horsemen of America (BCHA) our goal is to ensure that there are continued recreational opportunities on public lands.

As a member of this website, you are not required to become a DUES PAID member of the Cascade Horse Club Chapter of BCHW; however, we encourage you to support the local trails and our mission by becoming a member of our Chapter. As a DUES PAID member, you are able to join us on all the rides and events hosted by our club, you will also receive our monthly newsletter and get on our email list for immediate updates to what is going on with the club. As a DUES PAID member, your money is used to help support our mission. Members of the WEBSITE ONLY are welcome to join us on many of our rides and events, however we do reserve some events for DUES PAID members only, as a Thank You for your continued support. Anyone is welcome to attend our meetings, we meet the second Tuesday of each month at the Lake Stevens Community Center at 7pm, unless otherwise noted on the calendar.

Cascade Horse Club has been a club for over 50 years, this website is a tool we utilize to keep our members informed and updated, providing quick and easy access to our calendar and other riders in the community!
