Tell us about your trail horse

Mr Duke is a great sturdy boy that enjoys racing down the beach and a good strenuous mountain ride. He is solid, dependable, has a GOOD mind and is quite charming. He is small but he is mighty!

Where do you like to ride?

Anywhere there are good friends and pony friendly terrain!

Are you a current member with BCHW "Back Country Horsemen of Washington"?

I was (in 2009). 2010 I had a baby and had to stop riding Feb 2010, so I didn't renew my dues for 2010. Now I need to get off my toosh and renew for 2011. The babe is through the colic and I am looking to get reacquainted with my steed!

If yes, what Chapter? If not, are you interested in becoming a member of BCHW?

I was a Traildusters Member. But I will be joining BCHW and becoming a member of both chapters.

Are you interested in working to keep our trails open?

Of course. I am happy to post any "work parties" through any BCHW group on the Saddle Up calendar. VERY important to help maintain the trails and keep them open to equestrian use.

The Single feeder 20x24 is $125 and I put a lid on it so the horse can't pull the grate out.
I also have a Double feeder 24x40 for $165. I can build any size you want though.

I have it posted in the other for sale, does it need to be somewhere else? Let me know.

I decided to separate Goldie from the ponies she has been pasturing with. Led her through a creek and up the trail. The two ponies were very upset, running and bucking and pushing at the fence lines. We were headed past the enclosure the ponies were in to another area. Goldie became very upset and prancy even moreso the closer we got. continued.....

She pulled the rope & reared, turned to run towards the ponies and kicked up on her way away from me. She immediately stopped at my scream. I led her to the round pen and she got a good workout. I got a broken arm!

As a chapter of Back Country Horsemen of Washington (BCHW) and Back Country Horsemen of America (BCHA) our goal is to ensure that there are continued recreational opportunities on public lands.

As a member of this website, you are not required to become a DUES PAID member of the Cascade Horse Club Chapter of BCHW; however, we encourage you to support the local trails and our mission by becoming a member of our Chapter. As a DUES PAID member, you are able to join us on all the rides and events hosted by our club, you will also receive our monthly newsletter and get on our email list for immediate updates to what is going on with the club. As a DUES PAID member, your money is used to help support our mission. Members of the WEBSITE ONLY are welcome to join us on many of our rides and events, however we do reserve some events for DUES PAID members only, as a Thank You for your continued support. Anyone is welcome to attend our meetings, we meet the second Tuesday of each month at the Lake Stevens Community Center at 7pm, unless otherwise noted on the calendar.

Cascade Horse Club has been a club for over 50 years, this website is a tool we utilize to keep our members informed and updated, providing quick and easy access to our calendar and other riders in the community!
