Introduction

I've been a member of CHC/BCHWsince about the year 2000. I LOVE to trailride, my husband Derek started riding in 2009 and it has been great sharing this life-long passion with him. Horses are not my hobby, they are my lifestyle!

Tell us about your trail horse

The horse in my profile pic is Edgar, he has since been retired. In April 2012, I purchased my new trail riding partner, although he has never been on a trail, I think he will turn into a fine horse with experience and miles under him. :)

Where do you like to ride?

Anywhere I can! I am up for trying new places, luv to find local areas to access for day rides, excited to share mountain trips with my husband because there really is nothing more peaceful than seeing this great country on the back of a great horse!

Yes, I knew Julie and Olive. Went on many camp outs with Olive. Had allot of laughs with her as I am sure many people did! On a camp out up Sand Creek, she rode her mare to a stream to drink, the mare put her head down to drink and off went Olive over the mare's head. Olive got up laughing. She was the best.

If you enjoy horses, mules and the outdoors then we’d like to have you come visit us. We are a local group of great people who enjoy trail riding, campouts, potlucks, trail building and maintenance, monthly meetings and socializing.

As a chapter of Back Country Horsemen of Washington (BCHW) and Back Country Horsemen of America (BCHA) our goal is to ensure that there are continued recreational opportunities on public lands.

As a member of this website, you are not required to become a DUES PAID member of the Cascade Horse Club Chapter of BCHW; however, we encourage you to support the local trails and our mission by becoming a member of our Chapter. As a DUES PAID member, you are able to join us on all the rides and events hosted by our club, you will also receive our monthly newsletter and get on our email list for immediate updates to what is going on with the club. As a DUES PAID member, your money is used to help support our mission. Members of the WEBSITE ONLY are welcome to join us on many of our rides and events, however we do reserve some events for DUES PAID members only, as a Thank You for your continued support. Anyone is welcome to attend our meetings, we meet the second Tuesday of each month at the Lake Stevens Community Center at 7pm, unless otherwise noted on the calendar.

Cascade Horse Club has been a club for over 50 years, this website is a tool we utilize to keep our members informed and updated, providing quick and easy access to our calendar and other riders in the community!
