Duck Dog Challenge Training Day

Cascade will have the same bumpers that will be used at our May 18th Duck Dog Challenge.  This training day will be set up in mock scenarios that you and your dog may encounter for the actual Challenge.

We will not be doing our typical training scenarios with birds.

Hi Holly.. The training grounds are right off Hwy 2.. If you are coming from Everett, it would be the last farm on the right, just before the first light (Fryelands Blvd) on Hwy 2 in Monroe.. There are a couple buildings right there, you drive between the buildings over the railroad tracks and then there are signs from there directing you to our training grounds as they move every time typically to different areas of the property. I'm sorry you didnt find it! :( Please take my cell #[masked] and in the future if you are not finding it, please call.. :) There was a boat for sale out next to the highway at the entrance to the grounds. I hope to see you next time... and you have better luck.. I'm thinking we should start putting a sign out next to Hwy 2 for the new people that have not been to our grounds before...

Ok, I am going to try this again, I don't give up easily. I usually come up from kirkland, through Freylands and then go up Roosevelt to French Creek where I have my horse. I guessing that I would take a left at that light on hwy 2 to get there. I now have your number if needed. thanks.

I'd say come out and see what is happening. This is a practice for the Duck dog Challenge. We can adjust the scenario so your dog can get some marks. At the actual event in May your dog would need to be steady and not be held on the line before being sent for the bumpers. I don't think the dog would be ready for the real event but you are more than welcome to come watch and or help. We need scorekeepers and possibly help loading the wingers.
