Discussion for "Three Objects"

The assignment for this month is to shoot compositions where three objects constitute the subject. One compositional concept is that an odd number of items (1 or 3) works better as a subject than an even number (2 or 4). Higher numbers are perceived as a group so this idea may not apply when the numbers get larger. Anyway, experiment with threes and show us what interesting compositions you found.

As usual put your 5 jpgs on a flash drive for us to see.

I've worked as a photojournalist and portrait photographer for many years. Currently I spend more time being a mom than actively working, and was looking forward to having a photo assignment and meeting other photographers. Hopefully it will work out for my schedule another time.

Hi Bob, The Eastside Camera Club has David Julian doing a free presentation on Lightroom that night at Bellevue Library.
Is there any chance of our doing "Three Objects" one week earlier or one week later?

We are dependent on the dates that we can get library rooms, and those have to be selected a couple months ahead.

Should turn out to be an interesting assignment.
