Discussion for "Controlled Depth of Field"

Our assignment for this month is controlled depth of field. This implies that the photographer selects some portion of the image to be in sharp focus while other parts are blurred. This can be somewhat challenging for compact cameras with small sensors. Controlled blur can be added in post processing to simulate controlling depth of field.

This should be an interesting assignment because the subject matter is wide open. So give it your best shot (sorry).  See you there.
