Announcing a new Meetup for Cascadia Photography Group!

What: In-Camera Black and White

When: Monday, March 8,[masked]:00 PM

Where:
Redmond Regional Library
15990 N.E. 85th Conference Room
Redmond, WA 98052

This should be a fairly easy assignment to do. Take any picture you want, but set your camera to Black and White. Most current digital cameras will produce black and white photos right out of the camera. This is not required but if you want to make it a little more interesting, take two shots, one in color and the other in black and white. Then see if you can do a better job than the camera at converting the color image to black and white in Photoshop, Gimp, FastStone or other image editing software.

As usual group your 5 best assignment shots in a directory on a flash drive. Bring any other shots in another directory and we'll show as many as we have time for. Actual prints are OK too.
