It is used as a back-end for Apache Cassandra to deliver faster and more predictable performance without tuning along with other cools things like snapshots and clones and faster disk rebuild. In this talk, Hugh explores the data structures that forms the core of Castle.

About the speaker: Hugh Warrington, Software engineer at Acunu. Worked at Xensource after completing his CS degree at Cambridge University. One of the first employees of Acunu, Hugh leads the team that builds the Acunu management and monitoring tools which provide UI / CLI and API access to Castle and Cassandra.
