This group welcomes people who have a love for the energy and diversity of the city, an insatiable curiosity, and a passion for connecting with new people. We welcome those who relish arts and culture, dancing, music (especially live music), art, and outdoor as well as intimate activities; wholesome and healthy food, chill days/nights with interesting conversations, good vibes and positive energy. It's also for people who would enjoy a day of hiking, exploring a museum, art exhibition or an interesting locale, followed by a picnic, bike ride, frisbee game or just a beverage. It will be open to re-creating and reinventing itself depending on the ardor of its members, because considering how many cool things there are to do in NYC, many heads can be better than one. Founded by a recently minted master of education with 2 years to New York City, now serving as Co-organizer, it strives to extend her energy to explore and become more closely connected to this amazing city and to meet new people, something that grad students and others with odd and stressful schedules rarely have time to research and find a posse for.
