Will there be another trip on 4th of July?

    July 1, 2013

    • Barbara (Auntie B.

Nancy we ran into issues w/ parking at the boat launch. I would prefer if the leaders get the details as to the rights of kayakers - and the appropriate place for parking prior to returning there.

Nancy, the proposed 4th date comment, was if rain date was needed. And as 'auntie bubbes' mentioned, I will not be organizing any future meetups at Chebacco Lake till I get clarification from the Chebacco Lake Watershed Association's board members, Hamilton and Essex Police, and key agencies regarding the boat launch parking.

Hope you all enjoyed being on the beautiful Chebacco Lake as much as I did, after overcoming the parking lot harassment from them selfish motor boaters.

Sounds like a great event.Cannot make it at 11 due to family event but might try and put in later in the day to check the area out and see if I can catch up with anyone still there.Have fun.Suggest KingstonStatepark as another Kayak, fish, swim local.

    June 28, 2013

    • Debra S

Yes we will have to plan Kingston State park for another hot summer day.

      June 28, 2013

  • Barbara (Auntie B.

Debra - I am going to try to be there earlier - fish get up at the crack of dawn. The parking spaces are long enough to fit a truck w/ boat trailer. I have a Blu - Silver Subaru Sport - I will pull forward such that anyone that goes can park in back of me.

    June 28, 2013

    • Debra S

Barb, yes i was going to send out a message suggesting folks double up in the parking since the spaces are meant for the motor boaters with trailers.

      June 28, 2013

    • Debra S

Also I am keeping an eye out on sunday's Hourly weather forecast for Hamilton MA via www.accuweather.com, right now it looks like it may not be too smart to be on the waters between noon and 3pm so may have to postpone the summer lake fun day for better day. Are folks available July 4th?

      June 28, 2013

  • Brendan

Love this lake and the area.

    June 26, 2013

  • Nancy G.
