This is a letter that I received that I thought I would pass on to you.

Dear Ray,

I just wanted to inform you, and the whole group, about a charity event the Appalachian Trail Conservancy is hosting in Charlotte on November 7th, 2012 from 7:30-9:30pm at the Charlotte Crownpoint Theater.

The event will feature a rare opportunity to see the National Geographic film, America’s Wild Spaces: The Appalachian Trail, on the big screen. There will also be guest speakers, including hikers featured in the film and thru-hikers who have hiked the approximate 2,180 miles of the Trail from Georgia to Maine, raffles, giveaways and more. It's going to be a great event for the hiking community.

You can find more information about the event at appalachiantrail.org/discover

Each reservation will receive a year-long membership to the ATC, and anyone who uses the promo-code MEETUP will receive $5 off of their ticket purchase. Free admission to children 12 and under.

Every dollar raised will go directly towards maintaining and preserving the Appalachian Trail.

I really appreciate any help you can give to this great cause.

Hope to see you there,

Kaelin
