Spirituality For Singles Annual Christmas Party and Dance

Spirituality For Singles of St. Aidan Parish's Annual Christmas Party

Hot Buffet, free wine & beverages, dessert, DJ/Dancing all evening
All Singles Ages 28+ are welcome.

I think this is the eleventh or so annual party, I didn't attend in the earlier years - anyway, it's been around awhile and usually we get a large crowd.

The Party/Dance was well attended, everyone I talked to (many people) loved the DJ's mix and the buffet, there was energy and plenty of people on the dance floor most of the time (except when they were eating) - however I was somewhat bummed that no-one from this meet-up group seem to have attended - I asked some new faces if they were from the Catholic Yong Adults RVC meet-up group, but no one had heard of this meet-up group.
I saw people from the other "traditional" RVC Parish singles groups, but if there were any attendees from this meet-up group, sorry I missed the chance to say hello (I was handling the front desk for the first hour of the event) and I hope you had a good time.

    Hello Everyone
I figured I should check in so I won't be accused of post and run.

I see Elizabeth Byrne has 'roasted' the event - and I say she has a point to some extent- if you are in your 20s, or even early 30s, I really wouldn't recommend this event for you either.

OTOH, judging from last year (my 1st year of running it), there will be people in their late 30s, 40s (including me and a number of my friends and co-organizers), 50s, and yes, some people in their 60s even.

It's a good party for Catholic/Christian Singles, and I'd say if you can remember dancing at Malibu, Trilogy, or 007 in the 90s (or Cyberia or Oz around the turn of the century), you should have a good time.

Don't freak, it's not really clubland nights, it's a Christmas Party/Dance, and it's at St. Aidan so the DJ knows to keep it cool - besides, our Deacon's going to be there to say a few words too.
