Sunday road trip and Mass the way we knew it !

  • Needs a date

  • Needs a location

  • I have a friend who is Pastor of St. Peter Church in South Beloit. Father Jerome Koutnik grew up on the North side of Chicago, and now has his own Parrish. It is a small, quaint, and beautiful church; in a "small town" location. The Mass brings back many memories of the way it used to be: Communion Rail, Alter Boys, some Latin, and a Traditional Homily. South Beloit is just South of the Wisconsin border; so a road trip would be involved. We could also do a brunch, and ,given enough notice, we could spend some time with Father Jerome. Believe me, he makes being Catholic a valued experience once again.

This suggestion was from a few years ago, but who's still up for a road trip?

I have been to one of his masses. He is good. Had brunch with him and was able to talk to him personally. Great experience!

Fr. Jerome Koutnik is now at St. Thomas the Apostle in Crystal Lake, Ill. He used to be at Sts. Peter & Paul in Cary, so a lot of the area Catholics know him. St. Thomas publishes which priest will do which Masses in their weekly bulletins on the website. His homilies are awesome!!!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
