I have a friend who is Pastor of St. Peter Church in South Beloit. Father Jerome Koutnik grew up on the North side of Chicago, and now has his own Parrish. It is a small, quaint, and beautiful church; in a "small town" location. The Mass brings back many memories of the way it used to be: Communion Rail, Alter Boys, some Latin, and a Traditional Homily. South Beloit is just South of the Wisconsin border; so a road trip would be involved. We could also do a brunch, and ,given enough notice, we could spend some time with Father Jerome. Believe me, he makes being Catholic a valued experience once again.
