Phirst Phoenicia Library jam

We'll meet up on Sat., June 8, NOON: In conjunction w/ Phoenicia Library BAKE/PLANT/BOOK sale. Uncle Rock will be playing at 11 am, group uke chord review & jam beginning at noon. Loaner ukes available. If you come with kids, there will also be an all day Art project kids can work on.

We're making a change: from now on the Catskill Ukulele Group will meet at the Phoenicia Public Library on the FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH. The change is prompted by the start of the Killian Mansfield Ukulele Collection at the Phoenicia Library. Beginning Saturday, July 6, from 10:30 to noon, you can come jam AND use one of the libraries loaner ukes. If you have a Phoenicia public library card, you can actually check out a uke. Check out the video about the Killian Mansfield Ukulele Collection.

Wed., July 3: “Because Uke Cared” Concert 7 pm at Shandaken Theatrical Society, Church Street, Phoenicia. Suggested min. donation $15. Kids free.  Bring your uke for the uke-a-long. People who make a tax deductible donation to the Killian Mansfield Ukulele Collection DURING THIS MONTH get free tix to multi-artist concert benefitting both STS Playhouse in Phoenicia AND the Phoenicia Public Library.

Hope to see you this coming SATURDAY

Will music be provided or am I required to bring something?

Yup, I always have a few copies for folks just joining. This is a low key, warm group and if you're the patient type the first hour is a chord review for beginners. So glad to have you aboard!
