Special Guest Teacher - Robert Burke Warren

Robert Burke Warren be the guest teacher for this meeting. Robert plays a variety of string instruments, but took up teaching ukulele a few years ago. Otherwise known in the region as Uncle Rock, Robert's career has spanned many music genres (Fleshtones, Buddy Holly Story musical...), but has consistently made space for teaching. You won't want to miss this Catskill Ukulele Group meeting ya'll!

If you have a music stand, bring it. We're going to use space more wisely to fit the growing group of ukers.

Check this meetup.com site the Friday before Sept. 7 under "more" and "files" to see what songs Robert adds for this meeting.

Remember: the first hour is a class, the second is the jam.

REMINDER: for Davy Crockett Day (next Sat., August 17) we will play the Davy Crockett theme ONLY. We'll go over the song a couple of times when we meet at 11:30 in front of the library. We'll play at noon sharp at the Mystery Spot. For a better idea of the melody than I gave you, check out this LINK.

See you Sat.!

He was fantastic, good teacher, entertaining, taught us cute uke tricks and gave us memorable context for some of the chords we played. He offered wonderful songs that beginners can play. Hope he returns soon.

Robert was a wonderful teacher; clever, witty, generous and we learned three new songs and lots of helpful tricks.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
